When Pasta Becomes Concrete

It started as a normal Tuesday—until my roommate screamed like she saw a ghost. I rushed in, only to find her standing in front of the stove, horrified. "I forgot to stir the pasta," she whispered, eyes wide. Now, you might think that's no big deal. But in our apartment, unstirred pasta becomes one solid, spaghetti-brick of shame. I laughed really hard first knowing how she had always bragged of being an "excellent chef".   I tried to save it. I did everything I could. I poked it with a fork. I tried to separate it with tongs. I even consulted YouTube like a modern-day oracle. Nothing worked. Eventually, we accepted our fate. We plated the pasta-brick, sliced it like cake, added sauce like frosting, and ate it in silence.  It wasn’t dinner. It was a lesson. Always stir your pasta. Or buy rice.

Hello there  ! I'm Sarah, a Mass Communication student of UNN who's passionate about writing, an overthinker turned storyteller.  You are welcome to Gist it with Sarah - my little corner of the internet where I spill thoughts, share stories and dive in things we all love to talk about.  I created this blog because I believe in the magic of a good gist - the one that makes you laugh out loud or rethink life. Life is too short not to laugh, rant and overshare just a little. Whether it's real-life drama, random thoughts, or juicy conversations we all have in our head , this is the space where it all comes alive.  This blog is for girlies and guys and for the the gisters in-between who just want to relate and get that "omg, same!" feeling. It's honest, unserios (sometimes) and always 100% Sarah. So..., grab your favourite snack, leave your wahala at the door, get comfy and gist with me! What do you want to hear about first ? ... Let's gist in the comments.
